This is my newest bookcase design. I'm very excited about this design because it looks great, is easily customized to any size and is economical on both materials and labor making it very reasonably priced. Because these shelves have no front or back side they can also be used as room dividers. I've listed some standard sizes below but you shouldn't feel limited by these. This design can easily be made in virtually any height, width and depth. The 18" deep shelves are suitable for use as stereo or TV shelving. For widths over about 42" additional posts would be added in the center to keep the shelves from sagging. All the shelves except the top and bottom are adjustable with inconspicuous brass pins in 1/4" holes. Additional adjustable shelves are available.
