Richard Bissell Fine Woodworking

This bed was designed to go with a walnut bureau I had made the customer several years before. The bureau had fluted quarter columns so the posts on this bed are also fluted. Another detail (not easily seen in these photos) was a beaded cap along the top of the headboard and footboard. For more information on bed construction see my bed construction details page.
