My version of the classic continuous arm Windsor chair is light and elegant looking but don't be fooled by its looks. It's as ruggedly constructed as any chair you will find. The legs as well as all of the ash spindles extend all the way through the seat and are glued and wedged in place. In addition 12 of the 16 spindles also extend through the arm/back and are glued and wedged. The four rungs provide excellent support to the legs yet are placed high enough be out of the way. While this chair is most often used as a dining chair, it also works well as an occasional chair in the living room, study or bedroom.
Shipping note: When shipping 4 or more chairs blanket wrapped delivery is usually the most economical method. For one or two chairs UPS shipping is less expensive.
