Custom sized extension tables are very common. The table shown here is long enough to seat 8 without leaves. The two 22" leaves permit seating up to 12 comfortably. The width of this table was reduced from the standard 48" to 44" to allow more room for foot traffic between the table and a couch (just visible in foreground of photo). The largest extension table I have made was 66" round with three 20" leaves. It seated 8 closed and 14 open with room in the center of the table for a full Thanksgiving dinner.
