Although larger than the original, this table is a reproduction of a shaker trestle table. Unlike most trestle tables, the visual weight of the top and legs of this table is kept light through the use of relatively thin stock. As in the original, wrought iron braces (handcrafted by a local blacksmith) run diagonally from both legs to a center stretcher running directly under the top. Seats 8 comfortably.
